Step Up To A Career In Real Estate
First...you must successfully complete courses in California Real Estate Principles, California Real Estate Practice, and one other course from our list of courses offered. This is
required by the Department of Real Estate in order to apply for the state examination. These
courses consist of optional mini-quizzes and a 100 question multiple choice open book
exams. Upon passing the exam with 60% or higher, you have successfully completed the
courses and we will send you a Course Completion Certificate for each course along with an application for the state exam. You may complete the course in as fast as 2 ½ weeks and you have up to one year.
Second...you must apply to take the state exam with the Department of Real Estate (DRE)
to obtain your California Real Estate License. You must also submit the Course Completion Certificates. Our school will provide all of this information for you.
Third...you should study the California Real Estate Exam Guide. The Exam Guide consists of
practice exams similar to what you will take on the DRE state exam with explained
answers.
Fourth...after you pass your Real Estate Salesperson exam, call your local real estate office for a career interview.
